Welcome to Linh Nguyen Art Studio ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services, including custom calligraphy commissions, live calligraphy bookings, product purchases, workshops, pop-ups, and our website.

By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

We offer:

  • Custom Vietnamese calligraphy scrolls, artwork, and commissions

  • Live calligraphy experiences for weddings, events, and pop-ups

  • Workshops, classes, and educational materials

  • Physical and digital art products

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any service at any time.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 Custom Calligraphy Orders

  • Full payment is required upfront to begin any custom work.

  • Payment is accepted via Zelle, Venmo, Square, or other listed payment methods.

  • Your order is not considered confirmed until payment is received.

2.2 Live Calligraphy Events

  • A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date.

  • Remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.

  • Travel fees, material fees, and add-on services may apply.

2.3 Workshops & Classes

  • Payment is required at the time of registration.

  • Space is limited; spots are confirmed only after payment.

2.4 Late or Failed Payments

  • If payment is not received within 48 hours of the payment request, your slot or commission may be forfeited.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

3.1 Custom Work

  • Because each piece is handcrafted and personalized, all custom calligraphy sales are final.

  • No refunds will be issued once work has begun.

3.2 Events

  • Retainers are non-refundable.

  • If you cancel less than 14 days before the event, the full balance is still due.

3.3 Workshops

  • Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant.

3.4 Product Orders

  • Returns are accepted only for defective or damaged items. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

4. Turnaround Time & Delivery

  • Standard turnaround for custom scrolls is 2–4 weeks, unless stated otherwise.

  • Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee.

  • Local pickup may be available at scheduled pop-ups.

  • Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary; we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers.

5. Artistic Rights & Usage

5.1 Artistic Style

By commissioning us, you acknowledge that you’ve reviewed our portfolio and trust our artistic judgment and style.

5.2 Creative Autonomy

We reserve the right to turn down commissions that do not align with our values or creative practice.

5.3 Photo & Video Usage

We may photograph or film your piece or event for portfolio, marketing, and social media use unless you request otherwise in writing before your event or commission begins.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate details, spelling, and intentions for custom pieces.

  • For events, ensure the venue provides a safe, dry, and suitable space for calligraphy setup.

  • Notify us of any restrictions, venue requirements, or special accommodations.

7. Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, content, and calligraphy created by Linh Nguyen Art Studio remain our intellectual property.

Personal use is allowed. Commercial use, reproduction, or resale without written permission is strictly prohibited.

8. Shipping & Handling

  • We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages once handed to the carrier.

  • If an issue occurs, we will support you in filing a claim but cannot guarantee reimbursement.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Allergic reactions to materials

  • Damage caused by improper handling or storage

  • Losses related to event changes, venue issues, or external factors beyond our control

Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you for the service or product.

10. Privacy

Any personal information you provide will be used solely for communication, order fulfillment, and service delivery. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
